1x 10 ft 1.5" PVC PIPE
4x Elbow Joints
4x T Joints
8x End Caps
PVC Glue (anything will do)
Cut the PVC into the follow lengths
(x2) 18-24" (top piece, handle length)
(x4) 8-12" (side pieces, determines height)
(x8) 5" (feet)
Notice the lengths of the long and tall pieces are variable. If you want a bigger challenge doing L-Pull throughs you can make it shorter. Keep in mind if you eventually want to do handstand pushups with full ROM you should make them tall enough to allow for your head to go all the way without smashing the floor. Notice also that if you decide to go longer on the handles, you won't be able to go as long on the side pieces, so do the math first, 10 feet is 120 inches.parallette handles
Start by gluing the elbows to the handles. You can use the ground to make sure they are both pointed at the same angle. This is hugely important for the structure.
Glue the side pieces to the elbows.
Glue the T joints to the side pieces. It's also important to make sure these are both angled at 90 degrees for stability.parallette side
Glue the feet to the T joints and the end caps to the feet. You need to have the end caps so it doesn't wobble so don't even try to skip on buying all 8 of them.
Let it set and you are good to go!
